Charter Review Commission Begins Work, Launches Website
POLK COUNTY, Fla. (September 1, 2009) – The Polk County Charter Review Commission has begun the process of reviewing the Charter to recommend changes for consideration. A new website, www.polkcharter.com, was launched to provide information about meeting dates/times, Commission members and contact information. News items, meeting minutes and supporting documents will be posted as the Commission continues their work.
