The Polk County Charter
Review Commission’s Communication/Education committee will be meeting at 5:00
p.m. on February 12, 2002, in the 3rd floor conference room of the
Citrus & Chemical Bank in Bartow, immediately prior to the Charter Review
Commission’s regularly scheduled commission meeting. The committee consists of
the following Polk County Charter Review Commissioners: Bob Gernert, Jr., of
Winter Haven, Karolyn Nunnallee of Fort Meade, and Artis Dukes of Lakeland.
This committee will begin
the process of outlining a countywide public information campaign to communicate
the potential Charter revisions developed by the current Charter Review
Commission.
